Think of me as the “creative director for your image", helping you to embody your true style gracefully through the changes in your age, body, relationship status, and careers to more fully express who you are now, and where you’re going next.
Hello, my name is Tania Sterl, founder of Sterl on Style. As a personal wardrobe stylist, I love helping women to revive their style that is in tune with their professional goals, unique personality, and active lifestyles.
Previously working as a fashion designer for 15 years sets me apart as a Personal Stylist as I have an experienced eye for fit, fabric quality, color, and creating collections to dress a woman impeccably.
During my tenure as a fashion designer, my fashion designs were worn by TV personalities like Deborah Norville of Inside Edition, the Fox News Team, featured on What Not to Wear, and have graced the pages of magazines like Essence, Shape, Marie Claire, WWD, and more.
A desire to bridge the gap between the fashion industry and the real working woman, I found more meaning working one-to-one styling a woman than behind the scenes as a fashion designer, as I believe the transformative power that fashion has to give a woman confidence to conquer her day.
Now I work one on one with clients through my wardrobe styling services that range from editing your closet, to making shopping a breeze with personal shopping, and getting you styled and ready for your “close-ups” from to styling for TV, videos, head-shots and photo-shoots.
I believe that style is not just a look, it’s a feeling. How do you feel in your clothes? Do they integrate with who and how you are? Do they create comfort and confidence? What is your style saying about you?
In addition to personal styling, I enjoy speaking to inspire and inform through lunch and learn seminars and evening events for women’s business networking groups, private firms, and business conferences to help make fashion relevant to the real working woman.
From styling emerging corporate professionals, to established industry leaders in law, finance, and politics to entrepreneurial stars in fitness, photography, media and more, “my passion is to change the look of women’s leadership, one woman at a time by dressing her to lead and succeed.” ~ Tania, SterlonStyle
